D20: Flexible Event Scheduling for Data-flow Audio Processing |
D20: Flexible Event Scheduling for Data-flow Audio ProcessingTuesday, Oct 24, from 16:00 to 16:30 Wednesday, Oct 25, from 14:30 to 15:00 Thursday, Oct 26, from 10:30 to 11:00 Real-time audio processing frequently requires actions to be taken relative to many different control rates. Abstracting time and events from the underlying scheduler provides a high degree of flexibility when designing processing networks. These abstractions were used in the design of a highly extensible scheduler for Marsyas -- a framework for signal analys and synthesis written in C++.
