The "OOPSLA Idol" event will be a culmination of a judging competition, where applicants will submit business ideas or technical innovations on-line, to a panel of experts. The experts will cull through the submission, and invite the top 5 submitters to present their ideas live to the OOPSLA audience. The judges (panelists) will then comment on the presentation, and make a final selection.
