Tuesday, 5 November 16:00-17:00 Sheraton Hotel - West Ballroom A and BActivityJane Chandler This session will introduce a number of games designed for teaching the underpinnings and basics of Patterns. Games provide a practical, activity-based way of introducing challenging or difficult topics in a non-threatening way while enabling students/trainees to link new material into a familiar framework and learn from their experiences. In addition games can be structured to enable students who have some familiarity with the concept of Patterns to use their knowledge in a practical way that increases their depth of understanding. Delegates will have the opportunity to try one or more games and then consider ways of adapting these and other games to use in their own teaching and training. |
