Supporting distributed software design meetings: What can we learn from co-located meetings?
Uri Dekel, ISRI-SCS, Carnegie Mellon University
OO-design meetings are carried out face-to-face because existing tools are
either too formal, or not specific enough. Our work studies the low-level
characteristics of design meetings that must be supported in the transition to
virtual conferencing. We apply contextual design techniques to two colocated
design meetings held during the OOPSLA'04 DesignFest event.
