SRC03: A study of artifact creation and use in collaborative object-oriented software design

Object-oriented software design is highly collaborative. Existing tools focus on the creation of artifacts for documentation, but the requirements for facilitating creative design may be quite distinct. We present a study of design teams, focused on the use of notations and artifacts, and discuss implications for design-support tools.
